North Wales 2017

Back from Wales after a brilliant weekend.  Hard work on the hills but very rewarding.

Grid reference, bearings and route cards at last weeks meeting paid off.  No Scouts were lost!

Rush hour at the Llangollen chip shop.

Just checking the chips.  Wouldn't want the Scouts to eat anything that was sub-standard.

Red sky at night... Well, it didn't rain the next day but it was cool and windy.

5* accommodation for the weekend

Final planning

Pete's teams route for Saturday.

Top of the first mountain

Lunch sheltered from the wind.

At last a fairly flat bit.

Over the saddle by Tryfan and on the way down.

Too tired to walk, but always able to dab!!

Ritual slaughter in the Devil's Kitchen.

Chilling by the pool

Tryfan hiding in the clouds

Mark in a bit of a fix

Having a great time

Lovely place to be

Well earned rest

Looking back to where we had come from.

Back on the bus

Huge thanks to Andy B, again.

Relaxing with a game of Risk.

Shattered.

Nutters

Not a real injury

Siamese twins, joined by the bandage.

Much happier after a rest and a good meal

Sunday was a much more sunny and warm day.
